Deluxe Starting Platforms

ASTRALPOOL competition starting blocks are engineered and constructed with FINA compliance in mind, to provide the commercial swimming pool market with the perfect starting block at an economical price. Aquatic facilities will have the competitive edge when swimmers get into position on our single post starting block.  

Design features a large non-slip launching surface of 24" x 24". Constructed of 304 electro-polished stainless steel; these blocks provide maximum stability and a long lasting shine that will impress both the facility and their spectators. The launching surface is constructed of hand-laminated fiberglass and is mounted at a 10 pitch. Starting blocks are mounted to the deck surface through the use of a 5 prong jig that allows for easy removal when the platform is not in use, leaving behind a smooth flush surface avoiding deck surface obstructions. Mounting jig is constructed of stainless steel and features long-gated mounting holes allowing for front to back adjustability by 1.  Platforms will fit  almost any application where competition swim meets are held. Product will install perfectly in new design/build projects and just as nicely on retrofitted applications.   Platform blocks also feature a back step on most styles and all ASTRALPOOL starting blocks offer a holding bar for backstroke competition.  ASTRALPOOL starting blocks offer a 1-year limited warranty guaranteeing them from manufactures defect and insuring their structural integrity. The five prong jig is included as part of the hardware package and measures 9" x 8" x 8".  Installation instructions and design drawings are available upon request.
